Stars, under the stars

You’ve got to put your hands together and applaud those couples who finally look at each other, look at the calendar, realize the pandemic isn’t budging for a bit longer and say: “we’re getting married anyway.” That would be the short version of Serenity and Jeremy’s story. They were ready and decided that an intimate and abbreviated wedding in 2020, followed by a reception sometime in 2021, would work just grand for them. They not only made the best of it, they made their wedding enviable in so many ways. You might say “stunning.”

The Party People

While the cast of characters was shorter than originally planned, the couple was surrounded by love and joy. Serenity’s dress was an absolute showstopper and she looked amazing in it. The only thing more dazzling than her gown were the bouquets she and her attendants carried. Everything was perfected coordinated (of course), and in concert with all of the couple’s other choices. It was small, but classic.

The First Look

The Ceremony

Chatham Station was a perfect choice for this elopement ceremony. This Industrial Chic venue features perfect indoor and outdoor spaces to safely gather, but that can also be customized to suit a variety of aesthetics and preferences. This couple took advantage of the bay doors and white gauzy curtains for Serenity’s entrance. The back drop was adorned with flowers to match the bride’s bouquet and the other flower arrangements. The palette of white, grey, orange, sage and deep green was elegant for their October ceremony. Their Officiant was a family friend who performed a short, but truly lovely ceremony.

Reception & Details

The Couple

There are plenty of reasons to recommend Chatham Station, but yet another is its location and proximity to downtown Cary, NC spots. Before and after the ceremony, the couple and their photographer – John Branch – captured gorgeous images of them to remember the day, showcase their happiness and – let’s face it – allow Serenity to show off that gown!

These two are looking forward to their reception this year when they can invite a larger party to celebrate their marriage specifically and the ability to get together to party more generally. The Premier Party Planning team is so happy for you both, Serenity and Jeremy!
