We prefer weddings with both substance AND style and this one had both. The tropical themes, engaging way of including guests throughout, to clever details, Briana and Jacob’s wedding was a true blast of summer warmth.

Renaissance Raleigh Beautiful Ceremony
Brianna and Jake’s wedding ceremony was held at the Holy Name of Jesus, an amazing cathedral in Raleigh that replaced the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Even with the island neckwear on the groomsmen and the tropical bouquets carried by bride and bridesmaids, the ceremony felt like a sweet and sacred moment.
Hawaiian Themed Wedding Photos
Brianna and Jake’s Hawaiian-themed wedding incorporated so many colorful and thoughtful details into the DIY decor and overall vibe. From the gorgeous mix of coral, greens, deep purple and pinks in floral arrangements, the mood of the reception was joyous, and big and celebratory.
They had a “message in a bottle” seating chart that allowed guests to match their name and charm found inside of a bottle to an image on their assigned table. The guest book was a surf board and guests had their choice of favors: a tropical scented candle or bottle opener.

Everyone went home right after the “I Dos”…. is not a story that anyone will be telling about this wedding and reception. From the cathedral to the Renaissance Hotel, the sacred portion transformed into the party portion and everyone had a blast. The desserts had a tropical touch as well, with edible flowers on individual cupcakes. Guests sent the couple off late in the evening with a streamer exit and lots of cheers.
