Emily and Tom are the sweetest couple, and we were thrilled to help them plan their wedding scheduled for May of this year. The couple said their vows at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, and the reception was held at Market Hall – a favorite venue of brides and grooms. If you want to see more Market Hall weddings, check out Amy & Stephen, Lauren & Merrick, and Kim & Nick.
Getting Ready
Photographer Christian Reyes captured gorgeous images of Emily’s gown (check out the handkerchief hemline), the groom with his groomsmen, the bridesmaids and bouquets and all the fun and anticipation of the moment.
The Ceremony
The Holy Name of Jesus is a glorious place to say your vows, and Emily and Tom had an emotional ceremony. Her father walked her down the aisle to glistening eyes and a happy husband-to-be.
The newlyweds and their attendants took the Raleigh Trolly all around downtown for photos between the ceremony and reception.
Reception & Details
Emily is a HUGE fan of Taylor Swift and the details were everywhere. The table numbers had song quotes from Swift on them: fun and personalized.
The bride and groom’s first dance was to Taylor Swift’s “Lover” and then Emily went on to dance with her father to “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King. Groom Tom and his mother danced to “Forever Young” by Bob Dylan.
Congratulations
The rose gold glitter photobooth was a huge hit with guests and the couple ended the night with a super special exit on the iconic cobblestone streets outside of Market Hall.
