This is a second marriage for Paola and Clay, so their wedding at Whitaker & Atlantic was not only a joining of two people but a joining of families. The couple’s children from previous marriages served as their wedding party and it was really special watching them all interact and celebrate together.
Getting Ready
Paola’s gown was a stunner. The variations of lace and detail, open back and demure skirt were romantic and impeccable. With the addition of jewelry, hair clips and flowers, she looked absolutely amazing.
The Ceremony
Paola’s father, dressed in his traditional military uniform, walked her down the aisle to many sets of teary eyes.
Details
Paola wanted to highlight the industrial feel of their venue, but keep with a romantic, softer feel too. Premier worked with Paola, and her vendors to create a design plan that was the perfect balance of both. They had a custom hanging backdrop designed by the amazing English Garden that turned into the backdrop of their head table for the reception.
Since the couple met on match.com, they celebrated that fact in their custom wedding favors: glass coasters and books of matches marking the day.
Reception
The reception was a serious party and between DJ Ones keeping the dance floor hopping, and the delicious sit down dinner catered by Posh Nosh, the evening was filled with wonderful moments and memories made.
