Wedding Planning: Pavilion at Carriage Farm February 2024

Teresa (Terri) and Frank had two locations for their big day. They were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony at the Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, and it was so lovely and tender. Then they made their way to the Pullen Park to grab some photos and then to Pavilion at Carriage Farm.

Terri was walked down the aisle by her father who was so emotional. Frank’s mother passed away, so his father participated in the “Lasso Ceremony” which is a Hispanic unity ceremony where a decorative lasso is placed over the couple to symbolize their union. The traditional service was gorgeous and so touching.

The Details

Terri’s favorite color is Tiffany Blue so of course we had to incorporate that into her day along with warm peach and pinks to balance the look. Additionally, the couple’s love began over their mutual love for anime and manga so of course planner Tara had to incorporate that into their wedding design. Their cake topper showcased Sailor Moon figurines, and their welcome sign had a rendering of Terri & Frank as characters from their favorite manga – JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. One of their artist friends made that happen! It was wonderful. Even their wedding date – February 3rd – is based on the wedding day of the two characters in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Sailor Moon scepters were fun props for bridesmaids pictures and Iggy from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure made an appearance in the groomsmen photo. We LOVE it when couples add their personality to the day in specific and fun ways.

Terri, Frank and their wonderful wedding party had loads of photos captured once they arrived at the Pavilion. Loads of frivolity, laughter, these two really know how to set up a party! They took time to go to Pullen Park to grab more fun images with each other.
