Suzanne and Brandon’s ceremony was going to be gorgeous not matter where they ultimately said “I Do,” but the weather decided to misbehave. NO worries with this one, because moving the ceremony indoors turned out to be more beautiful than we could have anticipated. The interior of The Carolina Barn is perfect for decking with florals and just the right lighting. Theirs was a magical day!

Wedding Prep & First Look
If only these two knew how to mix fun with personal touches. HA! Suzanne and her ladies readied themselves while the guys had their moment toasting and goofing around.
The couple shared private gift exchanges with their parents. Suzanne and her father shared a tender first look, and he looked amazing in his uniform. Brandon’s father passed away, but he was represented with a memorial chair during the ceremony. Before everyone assembled, Suzanne and Brandon had a “first touch” where they exchanged private vows. These special moments were as important to the couple as their other clever and detailed choices.
The Carolina Barn Ceremony
Another lovely detail these two included was a ring warming. During the ceremony, the wedding bands are passed from guest to guest and each one says a blessing or prayer for well wishes over the rings.
And now, the Carolina Barn Party
These two added so many clever elements to their wedding day. Guests were photographed with to create a memorable guest book, which everyone loved. And just because Suzanne and Brandon’s dogs couldn’t be at the ceremony, they were still remembered via signature cocktails. Once all the formalities of vows and scheduled photos was out of way, the bride had a quick outfit change and the party was on! Shoes were quickly ditched for easier dancing and everyone enjoyed the mix of traditional and modern music. This reception had style and fun.
