Lydia and Danny tied the knot on a gorgeous fall day at Walnut Hill. This venue always allows for couples to make great choices in terms of the space and the details they want to include. And their details were thoughtful and so much fun. From the bridesmaids dresses to the beautiful birch wood ceremony arbor, everything was meaningful.

The Charm of An Outdoor Wedding

The guest count for this ceremony was the perfect size for their vows near the Lakeside Garden. Owner of Premier Party Planners, Nicole Conder, said this cozy spot was a first for her and is now her new favorite ceremony location for smaller guest counts. Having the bride make her entrance straight out from those beautiful barn doors was a show stopper!

The Reception Details

Clever use of sweet details meant repurposing the birch arbor from the ceremony, by putting it inside the barn, behind the head table. It made for excellent photos. Cocktails and snacks on the lawn were such a terrific touch, and the couple had Nothing Bundt Cakes brought in for everyone after the reception dinner. These are always a crowd pleaser! Who doesn’t love a Bundt cake?

The couple and their guests kept the dance floor hot all night, but we loved that Lydia and Danny saved a last private dance for themselves.
