Not everyone who planned a wedding had a Covid-19 set back. Lindley and Douglas planned their 2020 wedding and her family owns a farm: Murchison Farm. They desperately wanted their daughter to marry on the farm, so Lindley’s father built Hayfield – an impressive barn/lodge that is now a wedding venue. But in 2020, construction wasn’t quite completed. The set back gave them time to reschedule the wedding and finish the venue. Believe us when we tell you that this family would have made a tent wedding gorgeous in this setting, but what they ended up with at Hayfield was positively ravishing. And so was the couple!

Capturing images of these two, along with family, attendants, dogs and beloved guests, was easy for Becca Rizzo. The venue interiors were warmly lit and filled with earth tones, natural elements, flowers and intimacy. The exterior – even with a sudden, but passing thunderstorm – is breathtaking. Everything being green and fresh just added to the images of the happy newlyweds.

What was lush outside, was brought inside. The interior of the barn was dripping with greenery, flowers and lights. It felt like a garden party – both elegant, fresh and understated.
Reception
Out with a Bang!
Everyone gathered outside expecting to send off the newlyweds with sparklers, but the family arranged to have fireworks to end the evening and celebrate the road that got them all there. It was a perfect way to cap off the celebration of Lindley and Douglas. Congratulations you two! All the best for decades to come.
