A Winter Wedding

In December of 2020, Jamie Freet and Casey Hefner were married in a Pottery Barn style wedding at The Barn in Valhalla. Theirs was a weekend long affair, where they were able to celebrate with friends in a gorgeous setting, surrounded by friends and family, twinkling lights, hints of the season and lots of laughter.

The First Look

The Ceremony

The Barn at Valhalla bosts some spectacular spots to grab portraits, downtime, and casual moments both indoors and outside. The grounds and buildings are perfect and photographer Morgan Caddell was on point. Pre-ceremony cocktails and cider were available before the ceremony and then, promptly at 4 pm, the couple said their vows outside in a small but elegant ceremony.

The Details

Reception

The fabulous details, … the burgundy and blue, the wooden accents and natural elements, florals and textures … were a “wintry mix.” The reception was no different. Twinkling lights, warmth, greenery and toasts pulled everything and everyone together.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Hefner danced their first dance as a married couple to Ellie Goulding’s How Long Will I Love You. The groom and his mom danced theirs to Stevie Wonder’s You Are the Sunshine of My Life.
