The Couple
Alexia & Zach were married in October of 2021 at Carolina Grove, a newer venue to Raleigh and an absolute stunner of a setting. Premier loves Melissa, Carolina Grove’s owner, and we love this spot. Anyone who can open a venue in the middle of pandemic and make a success of it, is a champion in our book. They had gorgeous weather on the day and took advantage of both the crisp and lush outdoor settings, as well as the indoors where they said their vows.
The Preparations
While the ladies got ready inside (with some champagne popped outside before), the boys wrapped up their prep and found time for a shot. Autumn colors, natural light outside and loads of white, this place felt like the English countryside.
First Looks
Alexia’s gown was worth a first, a second and fiftieth look and so was Alexia. First she got to see the expression on her father’s face, and then that of her excited husband-to-be. Her dad was in the military, so she was keen to have him walk her down the aisle in his uniform. She even co-opted his sort, as you’ll see later, to cut the wedding cake.
The Ceremony
Despite the glorious weather, their ceremony was inside the barn, where the architecture made for a perfect backdrop for their vows.

The Details
When a couple and venue are this beautiful, less is absolutely more. Minimal and soft pinks, creams and greens were used throughout, so everything felt fresh, sophisticated and elegant.
Congratulations
After lots of dancing, eating, laughing and toasts, Alexia and Zach were sent into their new life with sparklers and cheers.
