Set & Setting
Premier’s Nicole Conder coordinated this particular wedding and confessed that it was one of her favorites of 2021. It was entirely original to the couple – Raines Plambeck and Mike Kljucaric. The couple held the entire event in October on the family property in Hillsborough, NC, and every single details was thoughtful and completely “them” – in other words: magical.
This couple had a vision for their wedding from the beginning. They wanted to get married in the middle of the woods, so the family personally cleared out the ceremony area and created a beautiful path from the house to the ceremony spot and then back through the woods again. Florist Eclectic Sage added moss and hanging florals throughout the outdoor paths through the woods to the ceremony site.
Preparations
Raines’ gown was custom made by Samantha Sleeper (@samantha.sleeper), and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect for her and the setting.
The Ceremony
Raines’ brother performed the ceremony, which was fun and touching. They couple read their vows – yes, there were tears – and all of the elements came together. From the varied but coordinated bridesmaids’ gowns, to the florals, to the natural features of the property, it looked like a fairy wonderland.
The Details
The cocktail hour was outside, and market lights were hung all around the old farm house, as well as the tent and pool area. For the reception tent, Eclectic Sage came through again with custom created florals and they installed an awesome floral/greenery arrangement right above the dance floor and main table where Raines & Mike sat.
An October wedding calls for hints of autumn, of the gothic, of magical spirits and of otherworldliness. They achieved it. Everywhere you looked, there was something enchanting to take in.

Without a doubt, this was a refreshing and fun departure from some of the weddings we plan at Premier. We tend to love all of the visions our couples bring our way, but Raines and Mike’s was exceptional. Congratulations, you two!
