These two gorgeous humans were married on October 30th of 2021. So we wish them the happiest first anniversary! They tied the knot at The Dock, which many of you may also remember was called Traine. It is located in Raleigh; it’s modern, industrial, sophisticated and provides lots of spaces for beautiful tableaux. Stephanie & Matt were the first Premier couple to get married here and we loved planning their big day. It was epic before, during and even now as we think back on it a year later.
Pre-Wedding Photos
Stephanie looked absolutely stunning in her gown. She and her bridesmaids had fun getting ready, and the groom and groomsmen did as well. When it was time for first looks between the bride and her father and then her husband-to-be, the air was crackling with excitement. You know that moment? You’re ready, but it’s not yet time to walk down the aisle and everything feels like pure possibility and joy.

The arbor banked with flowers against the white background was perfection. The wooden elements, touches of white, green and pink made the space feel natural and still completely modern.

…And their gorgeous pals had loads of great shots taken at the railroad tracks near the venue, as well as back at The Dock. It’s a venue that has so many places to capture special moments, intimacy and the carefree feeling of partying with your closest friends.
Details & Reception
Simplicity ruled the day. Often simple details are truly all that are needed to allow the couple to shine and to make each element that is chosen do its part to make a statement. Brides who choose less and choose thoughtfully can achieve such an impact. Stephanie’s white, pale blue, natural textures and lovely florals were perfection.
They rocked the dance floor ALL NIGHT complete with group sing alongs to Mr. Brightside by The Killers and Piano Man by Billy Joel and glowsticks.

The couple couldn’t decide between sparklers or bubbles for their grand exit so we decided why not do both? It was awesome! This wedding was so much fun to plan and went so well, that Stephanie’s sister Mackenzie hired Tara & Premier to coordinate her 2022 wedding.
