Alexandra (Alex) and Carson said their “I dos” on December 18, 2021 at The Carolina Barn in what was an absolutely gorgeous winter themed wedding. This affair was breathtaking, from the bride’s gown to all of the seasonal details.
Preparations
Alex’s gown had a full skirt and off the shoulder sleeves. It said, “Here Comes the Bride!” Watching her with her parents after she was dressed was so sweet.
Carson and his groomsmen donned holiday socks to go with their black suits, red vests and ties.
This couple opted to do a first touch instead of first look and the setting provided everything they needed.
The Ceremony
English Garden created a beautiful ceremony arbor that we moved behind the sweetheart table for the reception. The florals looked amazing with all of the natural light pouring in. Carson teared up a few times during the ceremony starting with his first look at Alex coming down the aisle.
The Details
Deep reds, white and greenery were incorporated into the reception along with holly berries, pine cones, floating votives and mercury glass.
Guest were treated to handmade Christmas ornaments favors that doubled as napkin rings. It was such a special touch at each place setting.
The Reception
Seeing Alex and Carson seated at the sweetheart table surrounded by white linens, lanterns and greenery, they looked like characters straight out of The Nutcracker Ballet.
At last, all that was needed to send these two into the night was a sparkler send off. Congratulations to you both!
