Mariel and Brandon said “YES” to each other Memorial Day weekend in 2022, and theirs was a full blown outdoor modern garden wedding. The couple’s wedding and reception were host by The Maxwell, but unlike many other couples who marry there, they wanted to say their vows outside. There were loads of lush florals, petals on the lawn, gorgeous arrangements and modern touches. It was glorious.

Guests were greeted for the ceremony with champagne ices from Sweetwater and after the ceremony they enjoyed cocktails and lawn games outside on the patio. The couple’s dog came for the ceremony and photos. During the ceremony, one of the groomsmen sang and it was such a beautiful and personal moment.

The gave each guest a hand written note which also acted as their place cards for dinner.
The sign for the cake table reading “take care of each other” was a sentimental gift from the mother of the bride. It’s a saying that the family uses often and meant a lot to the couple to have it displayed on the wedding day.
After a few heartfelt speeches, the bride changed into her shorter party dress for dancing and the grand sparkler exit.
