To answer your first question: YES, you can wear a gown as stunning as Lauren’s to a winter wedding. She did it and the faux fur wrap she donned later didn’t hurt. While it was a cold and windy day last November when Zack and Lauren tied the knot, the family was incredibly sweet and their friends brought all the warmth needed that day at the Brier Creek Country Club.
These Two...
A First Look
This was a tale of two first looks, and each was so beautiful. Lauren sneaking up on her father before the ceremony was followed by a first look with Zack. The couple and photographer took advantage of the Brier Creek venue, with all of its indoor and outdoor spots. If you are fortunate enough to have a great father in your life and then find the husband of your dreams, you are a lucky lady indeed. Lauren is just such a lady.
The Details
Simply put, the details these two chose for their winter ceremony were traditional, classic, extremely elegant and had all the charm you expect from a Southern wedding. Lush golds, pinks, whites, blushes and subdued greens were found throughout the ceremony and reception, as well as fun guest take-away gifts, sparkly “get me out of these heels” sneakers, and a hand-tied bridal bouquet complete with peonies and roses. She looked like a china doll and Zack like a man who’s realized he won the lottery.
The Ceremony
Grounded in faith and traditional, their ceremony was simple and understated, with Lauren’s brothers acting as groomsmen and Zack’s sisters as bridesmaids. It was lovely, inclusive and an extremely sweet service.
The Reception
The newly married couple had a fabulous reception complete with all the favorite dances, adoring exchanges, cake cutting, silliness and big send-off. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful pair. Congratulations to you both!
