Jessi and Nick’s beautiful September 2022 wedding at The Maxwell was one filled with golden natural light, loads of seriously thoughtful details, true romance, and of course LOVE. Jessi’s little touches were amazing, but this couple was celebrated big time.
Preparations
The Maxwell provides so many locations for photographers to capture images of the bride and groom, bridal party and various elements that make your wedding so special and individualized. Lots of architectural details, texture, and natural beauty were part of what drew Jessi and Nick to the venue. It feels dreamy there.
The Ceremony
For the ceremony, the florist added greenery dripping from the chandeliers which lended the most romantic touch. The mantel was banked with a gorgeous array of florals, and lots of natural light streamed in as the couple exchanged vows.
The Details
This was a wedding of smart, intimate and clever details. Instead of writing down best wishes and notes, guests were asked to pick up an old rotary phone and leave them as messages. This audio guestbook was a hit.
The pair’s pups also made a decorative appearance on the wedding cake, which was cute, and of course the color palette transferred to the table settings and other elements for the reception. Jessi had macaroons boxed up as favors, and these were put at each guest’s place-setting.
The Party
The black-and-white dance floor was such a timeless detail and the couple looked so lovely on it. Of course, the guests kept it warm all night once the evening really got going.
Off to the Honeymoon
A stunning wedding from start to finish, we love The Maxwell, but we especially loved achieving the vision that Jessi and Nick had in mind. Congratulations to this beautiful couple!
