Jenna and Devon were married in May of this year in an absolutely timeless wedding. Even though the wedding and reception were both at the modern venue – The Dock at Seaboard Station (formerly Traine) – the couple’s crisp, elegant touches reminded one of a royal wedding. It was perfection!

The First Look

Jenna had first looks with both the groom and her dear dad and they were equally wonderful. Surprise, joy and pride could be seen on both men’s faces.

More than one guest commented on the princess vibes that Jenna’s dress gave off and she was spectacular in it. Clean, simple and off the shoulder, she floated around in the full skirt. The photographer’s First Look photos of the couple with their wedding party look like they are out of British garden wedding.

The Ceremony

The backdrop for the vows was a wooden beamed structure flooded with the same flowers in the bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets. Soft pinks roses matched the bridesmaids’ gowns and the groomsmen’s ties. They all cut elegant silhouettes.

Details

Restraint is a virtue in bride’s and Jenna may very well be the symbol for this eye minimal and elegant. The bouquets, high and low candles, watercolor table cards and white linens all worked together harmoniously.

The Party

First dances are always tender (or surprisingly funny, when choreography is involved) and guests loved watching the couple sway with their parents and then have their first dance.

And then a party took over. Great toasts, lots of laughter and then a race to the dance floor. These two had an excellent DJ and his music did NOT go to waste.

Jenna and Devon had a swanky get-a-way car borrowed from a pal. It made the perfect backdrop for a kiss before they took off for their honeymoon. A sparkler send off was the final exclamation point. Congratulations on your beautiful wedding and here’s to an equally beautiful life!
