Jasmine & Nathan planned their late August wedding for 2021 while being separated from each other and the hosting city! Pretty impressive and so are they. We loved working with this super-sweet couple. Jasmine was in Connecticut, Nathan was working in the Midwest and they wanted to be married in Raleigh. No problem! Add to this that Nathan’s family is from Ghana and cultural details were important and you’ve got a modern wedding!
The Preparation
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh and was followed by a reception at the StateView Hotel. Nathan and his groomsmen wore ties made from beautiful Kente fabric, and his parents wore beautiful traditional Ghanaian clothing. Jasmine’s gown was breathtaking, with soft layers of lace and tool and just the right amount of sparkle.
The Details
Jasmine’s Aunt, who owns Nicole’s Florist, created all of the floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception hall. This including banking the hexagon arbor used at the altar with huge bundles of flowers. The other elements were a mix of traditional and luxe – with plenty of gold, greenery and crisp linens and soft lighting.
The Party!
The Hero Shot
The venue, the couple, the families, the dancing and the joyous atmosphere all combined for a stunner of a wedding for this amazing new husband and wife. Congratulations again, Jasmine and Nathan! We wish you decades and decades of love, prosperity and adventure.
