Amanda and Jimmy were married at Rose Hill Estate in late September 2021, and theirs was a wedding of big emotions. These two were such a joy to work with and they chose a location that was as expansive and inclusive as they are. We love working at Rose Hill.
The Preparation
The bride, groom and their attendants all got ready for the day at Rose Hill and since the weather was perfect, there were plenty of shots of the wedding party taken in and out of doors. Gorgeous couple, gorgeous light and perfect setting.
First Look
The Ceremony
The couple said their vows at the Pavilion on the property, overlooking the water. All they needed was sunshine, overflowing florals and each other. Amanda’s father passed away a few years ago, but the couple made sure he was present in a variety of ways.

The Details
The color palette included rich reds, dusty pink, whites and creams and lots of lush greenery. Amanda and Jimmy also invited an artist to paint moments from the ceremony and watching him work was amazing.
The Reception
Nathan Hall is an elegant space just in scale and possibility. Add florals to the chandeliers, long tables with white linens, gold chairs and simple sophisticated table arrangements, and you have a grand room for a party. And this troupe partied!
Amanda’s father’s family is all from South America, and due to the pandemic and the various traveling restrictions, none of them were able to come to the wedding. This problem was remedied by one of the sweetest moments of the day. His relatives surprised the couple with a video montage of all her South American family sending sweet messages to Amanda & Jimmy. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Send Off
Amanda and Jimmy were sent off with sparklers. It was a perfect last touch for this adorable pair.
