The fabulous wedding of Jackie and Connor Weeks proves once again that many hands (and the ability to be nimble) can make magic happen. When Premier’s Nicole first started working with the couple, the coronavirus was barely a notion. She refers to that time as “the BC days.” Of course, things changed, but we continued to plan the couple’s November 2020 nuptials.

These two were a wonderful couple to work with, and Jackie had a very specific vision and design for their day. When she visited the venue Traine, she fell in love with it, but they were booked for November. Time to zig instead of zag. So, we altered our plan by a month, and Nicole (now herself double-booked) handed the reins to the capable Tara and Anna Claire.
Thanks to other amazing vendors, the pair said their I Dos on December 12th.

The Couple

Getting Ready

Every detail and element of this event was stylish. A mix of retro-classic and WOW, understated but elevated, welcoming and warm, it was a beautifully designed wedding and reception. Jackie wore a stunning backless and caped gown that looked like something out of Old Hollywood. Her hair and accessories were perfect and completed the look.

First Look

Jackie’s father had the pleasure of the first look and they were both so touched (and glamourous).

The Ceremony

The Details

Like the wedding ceremony, the reception was a mix of elegant, classic and warm touches, with muted colors throughout, including blush, white, cream, pewter, black and rose. Candlelight, arrangements with soft florals and succulents, lots of fresh greenery, shimmery glassware, panels of green ivy and sheer white, and hints of pale pink peeking out… the reception decor transported everyone.

Reception & Party

After toasts, cutting the cake, lots of posing and laughing, the couple and guests danced well into the evening. The bride even changed from her show-stopping gown into an equally chic white strapless jumpsuit.

The Send-Off

They were patient throughout the planning and absolutely beautiful on the day of their wedding. Even with some Covid related adjustments, these two were the best. Congratulations, Jackie and Conor and many happy returns.
