Wedding Planning: Carolina Grove Venue: November 2023
Courtney and Jake were married on a beautiful November day in 2023, and boy were they blessed with spectacular weather and a Carolina Grove setting – one of our favorites – that never disappoints. This incredible venue was decked out with white flowers, crisp linens, and lots of candles, and then we added people, laughter, and a milestone of vows, toasts and a big send-off. The result was a Varsity level celebration for this adorable pair.
The Wedding Preparations
A First Look at Carolina Grove
There are so many things to love about the Carolina Grove for weddings, and one of the biggest is the natural beauty. The scenery surrounding this property is gorgeous, and photographer Christian Reyes took advantage of it. Before the couple came out for their first look, a deer casually wandering through the wooded areas. The trees during autumn are incredible here, and they dreamily dropped leaves as the couple first saw each other. These environs are magic, especially if you want an open-air wedding. Courtney and Jake’s first look was a truly one of recognition and joy.
Yes, we love their smiles. And we can all agree that Courtney’s gown was a show-stopper.
Carolina Grove Wedding
The couple chose to have the autumn forest as their backdrop, and the natural setting was perfection.
Courtney and Jake’s dog Brooks played a big role in the ceremony as ring-bearer. When the officiant called for the rings, their dog -handler let Brooks go, and he delighted everyone by traipsing down the aisle to present the rings.
The Details
The palette for this wedding was largely classic: black and white, with pink, cream and gold accents. They chose this minimal and monochromatic theme and it was beyond beautiful.
Carolina Grove Reception
These two newlyweds, along with their closest friends and family, hit the dance floor and did not look back. It was only at the sparkler send-off that everyone slowed down a bit. Congratulations Courtney and Jake!
