As always, Walnut Hill provided the perfect backdrop for Morgan and Harry’s wedding. The rustic elegance of the venue, with its sweeping views and charming atmosphere, made for a breathtaking setting. From the moment guests arrived, the natural beauty of the property surrounded them with lush greenery and rolling hills, creating a serene environment that complemented the couple’s laid-back yet sophisticated vibe.

The Ceremony

Staying true to their desire for a traditional yet personal ceremony, Morgan and Harry decided against a first look before the event. Instead, they chose to exchange heartfelt handwritten letters to each other in the hours leading up to the ceremony. Morgan did, however, have a first look with her bridesmaids and her father, creating special moments before she said “I do.” The first look with her father was a particularly touching moment, one that made the day even more meaningful.

The ceremony itself took place under the stunning copper arbor provided by Premier, which was adorned with elegant drapery. The couple’s officiant, a dear family friend, held an especially sentimental role as he had also officiated Morgan’s parents’ wedding.

The Reception & Details

Morgan and Harry were determined to avoid “boring wedding food,” and they certainly succeeded with a one-of-a-kind reception experience. Instead of a traditional sit-down meal, they opted for a station-style reception featuring “fan favorites” that ensured there was something for everyone. Guests enjoyed a mini street taco bar, a southern food station, pizza, mac & cheese cups, and of course, delicious donuts to round out the evening.

The day was filled with joy, laughter, and love as guests indulged in delicious food, enjoyed drinks, and danced the night away. It was a true reflection of Morgan and Harry’s personalities: fun, relaxed, and full of heart.
