Krista and Nick and were married at the Barn of Chapel Hill on what was a very cold day. The ceremony was planned for outdoors, but the temperatures were not welcoming to couple, guests and the warmth of love. The only downside was sending guests outside while we flipped the barn for the reception. The upside, Krista and Nick’s guests were the absolute best. They stood outside, enjoyed cocktails and then scampered back into the warmth of the barn.

The Ceremony
It was so cold, it even snowed a bit during the wedding, but the barn turned out to be the best backdrop for their ceremony and vows.
The Details
Krista and her mom had a very specific vision for all the details and everything came together perfectly! Not only was the bride’s dress absolutely incredible, the shades of blue, violet, and pink details, the bright whites, the florals, the shawls and cream bridesmaids dresses, it all said elegance, elegance, elegance!! There was beading and there were beach elements, incredible linens with blue details, it was sublime.
The Reception
It was a beautiful party. Once the cocktail hour outside was over and guests came back in, the party really began. Groups gathered, there was dancing and dining and Krista even changed into a beautiful second gown with balloon sleeves and hit here mid calf. This couple were so much fun to work with and they just GLOWED. The images say it all!
