Wedding Planning: Market Hall Venue January 2024
Haley Jobe looked up at her beloved Chris Givens and said yes in January of 2024. Surrounded by family, pals from alma-maters Davidson College, Virginia Tech, and Duke Divinity, and dearest friends, Haley and Chris became husband and wife.
These two wanted a classic, but modern black and white wedding, and they nailed it, with the help of Premier’s Tara Ruffier.
Preparations & Details
There’s something truly sleek about a wedding theme that is grounded in black and white. Add some florals, Wool E. Bull from the Durham Bulls, and Market Hall as a backdrop, and you’re there!
The bridesmaids, groomsmen and decor were all stunning and made it possible for photographer Whitney Gremaud to capture some truly gorgeous images.
First looks, of any type, are the sweetest, and Haley got two for her day: one with her dad and another with her man, looking sharp in his white and black tux.
The Wedding
At the Edenton Street United Methodist Church, the groom’s father played trumpet in the church as guests arrived, and it was both touching and so incredibly cool. He was their call to the altar and all of the guests loved it. The setting was perfect, and afterwards everyone made their way to Market Hall for the big party.
The Market Hall Reception
Since Wool E. Bull made a surprise appearance and the couple’s Valentine’s Day, the couple thought it appropriate that he stop by and surprise everyone on their wedding day too. There was even a t-shirt toss to the guests with custom shirt with the couple’s photo and wedding day on them.
Congratulations Haley and Chris! It was a glorious day suited perfectly for a pair like you.
