An Autumn Market Hall Wedding
Rebekah and Charlie were married at Market Hall in November of 2021, and there’s was a combination of glamour, autumn touches and some seriously great DIY from the bride.
Preparations
In an era of blue and tan suit, green velvet tuxes and other shifts from conformity, it was so cool to see the classic black tux on Charlie and his groomsmen. They all looked like Double O’s from an Ian Fleming novel.
Rebekah’s gown was one for the ages. A full round skirt that swept around her as she walked, strapless bodice and sumptuous fabric, this girl was a knockout! Their colors were largely black and white and it worked! Black lounge pjs for the bridesmaids, right down to black candles on the reception tables. Skeptics: just look. The result was stunning.
A First Look
The Ceremony
Rebekah is extremely close to her dad and paternal grandmother. In fact, her grandmother is more a mom and best friend and watching them interact was the sweetest.
The ceremony was beautiful, and we loved the strings of market lights hung above the guests. After the recessional, the couple and their party did what brides and grooms love to do at Market Hall weddings: get more photos outdoors. There are so many lovely spots for images, and this crew too complete advantage of the weather and the venue’s surroundings.
The Details
Rebekah created all of the centerpieces for tables, and with some hearty florals, black candles, white table linens and black chairs, the room came together beautifully.
The Reception
These two had quite the party. After some toasts and cake cutting, the dancing took over and the floor was crowded all night.
All that was left was a sparkler send off and the night was complete. Congratulations to this couple who have recently become new parents!!
