A Beautiful Romance at Walnut Hill

Emma and Josh starting their married life on the sweeping grounds of Walnut Hill. And it was a family affair. Emma’s sister was her Matron of Honor; her brother in law performed the ceremony and Josh’s father was his best man. Emma’s nephew made the cutest ring bearer. What could be better than starting off surrounded by those you love the most?

Wedding Preparations

Emma’s dress was exquisite with a strapless bodice and beautiful removable train and veil. She and her bridesmaids got ready together and then shared a sweet first look. We loved the understated and elegant palette of their gowns and florals.

First Touch

After a first touch with her husband and some personal notes to each other, Emma shared a first look with her father. Dads have any number of reactions during a first look, but tears seem to be in order most of the time. This was no exception.

The Ceremony

This wedding felt like a garden party, with a lovely mix of indoor and outdoor elements. The floral arrangements – from bridesmaids bouquets to arrangements marking the aisles, everything felt fresh, lush and dreamy.

Set & Setting

Creams, white, taupe, coral, blue and green were all they needed in this setting, and from the florals we’ve mentioned to the linens, candles and lighting, the atmosphere was warm and sophisticated. Party Reflection draped the barn ceiling and posts with white sheer fabric that softened the wood and other textures.

Guests were greeted to the cocktail hour with a champagne wall and a custom neon sign. They spilled out onto the vast lawn and enjoyed taking pictures and awaiting the beginning of the reception.

The Party

Sadly, there was no dancing. If only…! Emma, Josh and their guests danced in the barn until they were exhausted and happy.

Congratulations Emma & Josh

After a perfectly magical day, the only thing left to do was send Emma and Josh off on their honeymoon with sparklers, cheers and well wishes. Congratulations, you two! Here’s to decades of love and happiness.
