Wedding Planning: The Maxwell: November 2025
Samantha Dietter and Cody Richards were married November 8 at The Maxwell, surrounded by 91 guests, many of whom had traveled a bit to celebrate with them.
Their wedding brought together everything they wanted from the day: beautiful music, an easy flow from one moment to the next, time alone as a couple, and a weekend that made their out-of-town family and friends feel right at home.

Preparations for I Do
The season showed up beautifully in the details. A neutral palette provided the classic foundation, with pops of orange and pink, plenty of greenery, and warm wood accents adding just the right amount of autumn. There was something distinctly Thanksgiving about the whole affair in the best possible way: a table full of favorite people, a beautiful setting, and that particular feeling of being surrounded by the people who matter most.
The Maxwell Ceremony
The ceremony took place indoors, where Samantha and Cody’s dogs had the important job of conveying the rings.
Afterward, guests moved into cocktail hour while the reception space underwent a full flip. The couple took advantage of that transition for a private moment together before the room reveal, creating a little breathing room in a day designed around celebrating with everyone else.
