Wedding Planning: The Maxwell Venue April 2024

TalThis beautiful couple were married in the spring time of 2024, but fell in love over their shared interest in yoga. Greg was hoping to become a yoga instructor and Rachel, already one, was teaching a course. Talk about a healthy “meet cute!” They bonded over not only yoga, but animals as well. Rachel is in management at a veterinary clinic, and the couple’s sweet bulldog acted as ring bearer for their ceremony at the luxurious and hip wedding venue, The Maxwell.

Preparations at The Maxwell

Florals were a key element of the day at this April wedding, and Rachel and her bridesmaids made their own bouquets, which were springy perfection. Even Rachel’s gown had a bodice covered in lace flowers, and the gentlemen all wore crisp blue suits.

The Maxwell Spring Wedding

The palette for this wedding was both elegant and understated. Frothy creams and whites, ecru bridesmaids dresses, and soft blue touches were everywhere. The setting felt like a string of pearls or a dish of vanilla ice cream. The day was a stunner! There were no April showers. Rachel and Greg said their vows outside in front of a gorgeous set piece banked with rich white florals in front of lush green trees on the Maxwell property.

From the petals that flanked the aisle outdoors to the fireplace mantle inside covered with more arrangements, spring was omnipresent at the ceremony and the reception.

The Maxwell Reception Party

The buffet held lovely sweets and nibbles, including spring colored macarons and an espresso martini bar. Greg’s mom created the cocktail table bud vases for the cocktail hour. And along with the toasts and laughter, there was of course, a massive dance party. These two know how to celebrate, and so do their friends.

A Fun Farewell

The arrival of the Raleigh Trolley signaled that it was time for the newlyweds to head out. Only a sparkler exit could be the last bow on this amazing day. Congrats again to Mrs. and Mrs. Nardo!
