Wedding Planning: Traine Venue October 2023

Jamie and Robert were married at the iconic Traine in Seaboard Station, in a beautiful – some would say – timeless ceremony. The gorgeous fall wedding at this unique venue in downtown Raleigh did not disappoint. Traine is next to a seriously cool local garden shop, and train tracks that skirt an old building, with a view. Couples and photographers love to take advantage of these spaces on the big day, and it was perfect for Jamie and Robert’s autumnal affair.

The Preparations

Jamie and Robert wanted to have a first look on the porch of the venue, right next to a lounge area set up for the recepton. It was a fun and relaxing gathering space with their Best Day Ever sign as the focal point.

Traine Wedding Ceremony

If there was ever a moment when the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” was appropriate, it might be during this gorgeous ceremony, and Jamie in her dress: swoon! From the twinkle lights to the wood tones, greenery and arbor altar, it was absolutely classic.

They said their vows in a beautiful ceremony celebrating their faith and love. After the big kiss, guests enjoyed cocktails outside in the lounge area while we flipped the room for the reception.

Guests happily flowed between the outdoor lounge and indoor space after their delicious dinner, and of course for the dancing! Jamie and Robert mingled and celebrated with all their closest friends.

The Big Send-Off
